How much connector pipe can I run?
Most stove manuals cap the total connector run at 8 to 10 feet with no more than two 90 degree elbows. Any horizontal section must rise at least 1/4 inch per foot toward the chimney.
Which length should I pick?
Measure from the stove collar to the ceiling, subtract the stove adaptor, then choose fixed lengths that get you close and use the telescoping piece to absorb the remainder.
Can I combine the telescoping piece with fixed lengths?
