The AP5000 is engineered to burn only PFI-certified premium hardwood pellets. Corn, coffee pellets, and alternative biomass fuels are not approved and will damage the stove and void the warranty.

Does the AP5000 require a chimney?

No. The AP5000 uses a direct vent system that exhausts horizontally through an exterior wall (or vertically through the ceiling). All required venting components—mounting bracket, stove adapter, vent cap, wall thimble, vent attachment, and twist-lock pipe—are included in the box.
